Your Life Story - Makes writing your Eulogy easy
When I meet families, there is so much to arrange. So much to think about. So many questions to answer in a 2 hour meeting at a low point in their lives.
Every funeral services is structured around the Eulogy and this is always the most stressful part of planning a funeral. Your loved ones will find when trying to write up your Eulogy, there are gaps, they won't know what your life was like as a child, a teenager, an adult or even family life until they were 6 or 7 years old. They won't know about the funny stories and the great times you had with friends. Over a third of your life story missing - at your funeral, your Eulogy is incomplete - your family will never know the full story of ‘you’. Who knows you better than you - who’s best placed to choose the stories to tell and those to leave out? The answer, of course, is - YOU! Don’t leave them to struggle with your Eulogy. I will help you build and write up your life story so your loved ones know the story of your life. |
Celebration of Life Event
As a celebrant I often hear....... "If only i had told them I loved them before they died or The only regret I will have for the rest of my life is not have said....."
The answer lies in a Celebration of Life event, a sort of 'This is Your Life' party when family and friends come together to celebrate a significant birthday or hold a joyous occasion for a loved one who is terminally ill. What happens? These events can be held anywhere, in a restaurant, village hall or at home. It brings everyone together with music, songs, tributes and stories of times past from family members and friends. You can use PowerPoints, family photos, films and objects which will bring back wonderful memories. In this day and age with people living longer and Dementia now taking hold, more and more families are holding a Celebration of Life before it's too late. I will guide you through the planning and then host your event for you |
